Proposed Rules for GREEN Program
(Revised August 1, 2001)
- Participant will be a company or organization with expertise in refrigeration or air conditioning systems and with high-quality testing laboratories or access to high-quality testing laboratories.
- Company or organization agrees, in writing, to abide by the rules of the program, including sharing all data and publishing data, along with unresolved comments, in the open literature.
- Company or organization will make a commitment to do testing by a mutually-agreed date and to present the results in writing and by oral presentation at a meeting of the participants. Testing will be done at participant's expense.
- Meetings of the Testing Committee will be hosted by one of the industry trade associations. The location will be rotated among North America, Europe and Asia. Every attempt will be made to hold the meeting in conjunction with other relevant technical conferences.
