ICARHMA is the International Council of Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Manufacturers' Associations. The Council, which was established in 1991, is a membership organization open only to national trade associations in major countries with manufacturers (of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment) who have a significant share of the international market.

Under the auspices of ICARHMA is the Global Refrigerant Environmental Evaluation Network (GREEN) Program. This program is an effort to obtain objective performance data on new and existing refrigerants in a variety of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump applications. The testing program is accompanied by a communications effort to disseminate performance information as well as other comparisons of HFC and alternative refrigerants, particularly hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide.

ICARHMA's current members are: ABRAVA, the Brazilian Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Venitlation Industry Association; AHRI, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute; CRAA, the China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association; EUROVENT/CECOMAF, the European Committee of Air-Handling, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturers; HRAI, the Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Institute of Canada; KRAIA, the Korea Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, and JRAIA, the Japan Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association.

The Council serves as a forum for the discussion of issues affecting the global air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. AHRI maintains the Council Secretariat.
